The Brevard County Bar Association’s
Young Lawyers Division

The purpose of the Young Lawyers Division of the
Brevard County Bar Association is:
•    To stimulate the interest of young and/or recently admitted attorneys in the objectives of the Brevard County Bar Association; and to assist the County Bar in its purposes by cooperating on projects of benefit to all the members of the County Bar.

•    To organize the young and recently admitted attorneys of the BCBA to cooperate for the betterment of the profession; to afford activities of a social nature; and to develop and to encourage communication among all members with respect to the common problems faced by new practicing attorneys at the Bar.

•    To encourage a substantial program of social activities with the purpose of promoting friendship and offering relaxation from the pressures of the practice.

•    To serve the public, particularly those persons outside the legal profession, through community projects and activities.

•    To enhance the image and reputation of the legal professional and the County Bar.

All attorneys (who are members of the Brevard County Bar Association) qualify to be members of the Young Lawyers Division, as we have two types of membership:
1)       Active membership – under the age of 36 and/or practicing less than 5 years – dues $20.00
2)       Associate membership – 36 and older and/or practicing more than 5 years – dues $25.00
